D'Annie - Free
D'Annie - Free

Nigerian Gospel Music Sensation, Anne Chukwudumebi Okonji who goes by the stage name D’Annie is back on the radar with an inspirational and uplifting single titled ‘Free’.

‘Free’ is a spiritual gospel song that reminds the world of the beautiful exchange made on the cross of Calvary and all it entails. A self-awakening to the fact that our unrighteousness and past has been replaced with new life. It seeks to draw our attention away from the calamities, pain and depression we experience even as we fix our eyes on God’s word of truth. Remember ‘Who the Son sets free is free completely’.

‘Free’ makes it the 3rd single released by D’Annie. Her previously released singles (`Kelechi` and ‘Make A Change’), trended on several social media platforms.

‘Free’ is produced by Skytimz.

LYRICS

Chorus (Chant):

Free Free from the shackles of this life that weighs you down

Free Free from the cage of misery, pain and slavery

Free Free. Now you can sing a song of freedom

Free. So free

Verse 1:

Don’t you know you’ve been redeemed, Free to live

You’re no longer bound by sin and destruction

Death has lost its hold on Christ. Same goes for you

By His Grace you’ve been set free. Lift up your voice and say

Chorus:

Free Free from the shackles of this life that weighs you down

Free Free from the cage of misery, pain and slavery

Free Free. Now you can sing a song of freedom

Free. So free

Verse 2:

Life has tagged you with your pain, your past and heartache

Fighting so hard just to survive through every storm

By His power you have been raised new life begins

When you feel like giving up, remember God’s word that says

Free Free from the shackles of this life that weighs you down

Free Free from the cage of misery, pain and slavery

Free Free. Now you can sing a song of freedom

Free. So free
